Vantablack FJ cruiser in the works?
Most of the FJ Cruisers I have seen around here have been in some bright colors so it’s odd to see one all black.

like, a LITTLE bit more.
break out the vanta black paint, and the tinted headlight/tail light spray
and of course, tint that front glass like a bond villain

Don’t forget to get those bolts on the beadlocks. They stick out like silver thumbs.

good point, lets extra blacken the wheels too
probably something to be done about the tyres, but it wouldnt last long on the road.
of course, I wouldnt put it past the kind of person who tints their brake lights to also paint their tyres.

Saw a black Lexus GX in Boston last night, black everything including the windshield, yes, there was tint on the inside of the windshield.

I kinda like it. I mean.... it shows a lack of imagination on the part of the owner, but if the taillights aren’t blacked out I might even call it tasteful.

None more.

Smell the glove!
No, seriously, I just filled up with diesel. Smell the glove.

Brian Regan has a few thoughts on the appropriate level of blackness. I think he calls it blackety-black.

It could get just a little more black.
Only just a little.

The thought of driving that in a Desert, or any sunny climate. No thanks.

Right?

I passed a McLaren 650S the other day, black everything, with the darkest black tint I ever did see,
on the windshield
. So dark you’d think it was fake. I did not understand.

Not bad, but needs more black...

Perfectly awesome, perfectly safe.

I guess if you only drive on sunny days, it would be ok? You wouldn’t have to wear sunglasses? Maybe?!? I mean, it’s amazing how dark it looks, looking through even factory tint on a car with a black interior, but from the inside looking out, of course everything looks fine.
Still. What about at night.

I’d like to believe that person doesn’t drive that 650S
at night,
and only on s
unny-ish days, but I’m very skeptical of that. We have front tint to match factory privacy tint on our rears
, and I’ll admit that at night sometimes, it can be difficult. So I’d guess that the driver of the vehicle I saw just assumes that everyone will get out of their way because I can’t imagine they can see anything.

My car has it on the windshield too , but it’s a very mild shade. But the car came from Arizona / NM so I understand.

I would 100% dazzle camo this if it were mid. I can’t stand the blacked out look.

That makes sense to me. I mean, during the day I suspect any of this is fine, more or less.

None more black
